Showcasing younger American Black and Latinx classical string gamers, the competitors chosen 11 junior and 10 senior division semi-finalists
The nationwide Sphinx Competitors is an annual occasion that provides younger Black and Latinx classical string gamers the chance to carry out earlier than an internationally famend jury and be mentored by high business professionals.
Tune into The Violin Channel for the Finals rounds of this 12 months’s competitors! The Junior Division Finals are from 12–1 PM on January 27 and the Senior Division Finals are from 7:30–9:30 PM on January 28.

The competitors finals can be held between January 26–28, 2023. Finalists in each the junior and senior divisions can have the chance to carry out with the Sphinx Symphony Orchestra, which contains all Black and Latinx orchestral professionals.
Prizes embody the $50,000 first prize within the senior class and the $10,000 high prize within the junior part. Moreover, all semi-finalists and finalists can have entry to scholarships and wonderful devices by means of the Sphinx Music Help Fund.
