Grammy Award-winning, Japanese-Norwegian violist Masumi Per Rostad is an lively performer and professor of viola and chamber music on the Eastman College of Music. As a former member of the Pacifica Quartet for nearly twenty years, he additionally based DoCha, a chamber music competition in Champaign, Illinois.

As Principal Cellist of the Camerata Pacifica, Aznavoorian has appeared with lots of the world’s main orchestras — together with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Pops, the Tokyo Philharmonic, the Helsinki Philharmonic, the Finnish Radio Symphony, the Worldwide Sejong Soloists, the Belgrade Philharmonic, the Juilliard Orchestra, and the Edmonton Symphony.
A recipient of the Bunkamura Orchard Corridor Award, her different awards embody first prizes within the Illinois Younger Performers Competitors, the Chicago Cello Society Nationwide Competitors, the Julius Stulberg Competitors, and the American String Lecturers Affiliation Competitors. Aznavoorian was a prime prizewinner within the 1996 Worldwide Paulo Competitors, was named a Presidential Scholar within the Arts, and carried out as a soloist on the Kennedy Heart in Washington, D.C.
